At Sky Sports you can now play Free Fantasy Football for real money rewards. And if you register today to play in Sky Sports Fantasy Football you’ll get £10 to wager with on Sky Bet completely free as well, with absolutely no deposit necessary.

Players can sign up for free with their existing Sky Bet or Sky Sports login info, or they can register directly for the Fantasy Football competition (which also entitles them to participate in each week’s Super 6 Soccer Saturday promotion, described in an earlier post).

Once signed up, players pick their Fantasy Football team for the Premier League season, choosing 11 players with a £75m budget, then placing those players in one of the 5 basic formations: 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 4-5-1, 3-5-2, or 5-3-2. Players can be chosen from any Premier League club with as many players from any of those clubs as you desire. You will then be asked to name a captain on that team, who will earn you double points. Participants are allowed unlimited changes before the season’s first kick-off, with 5 transfers allowed per calendar month and 30 transfers allowed overall through the course of the month. Participants are allowed to change captains unlimited times before the first kick-off of the season, and thereafter once per game week. In addition, for any transferred player to be eligible for scoring, they must be transferred before that day’s earliest kick-off.

In addition to competing individually, you can also participate in a number of Sky Sports Fantasy Football Leagues. There are Public Leagues you join and Pundit Leagues where you compete against Sky Sports pundits. Then you can join or begin your own Private League containing the friends and associates of your choosing. Once you register for Fantasy Football, you will be automatically entered into all global Sky Sports Fantasy Football leagues for the season.

Then, directly from the Sky Sports Fantasy Football website, you can view and manage Teams and Leagues, and track and analyze Stats and Leaderboards. And as a new innovation last season due to all the incredible superstar names on the docket, Sky Sports now allows you to select 2 teams instead of being limited to just 1, if you like. Visit the Fantasy Football page on Sky Sports and Sky Bet as well to see all the details on scoring: that is how many points you earn for various accomplishments by players on your Fantasy Football team or teams.

The overall winner of the entire Sky Sports Fantasy Football League will get £25,000, with the runner-up getting £5,000 and 3rd place getting £2,500. Each week’s top winner gets a prize like an iPad while each month’s top winner gets a prize like a MacBook. Over in the Fantasy Football Club League, the winner gets £5,000, with the runner-up getting £2,000 and 3rd place getting £1,000. The winning Private Leagues will get £2,500 and £5,000 respectively (for the Private League and Private League+). From there, a bevy of other prizes are up for grabs throughout the season including the Second Half of the Season competition, the Early Bird Prize, the Chairman’s League Prize, the Knockout Cup and the Starting XI Competition.

Sky Sports TV airs The Fantasy Football Club in 1 HD on Friday nights from 10 to 11 pm, hosted by Fenners and Merse.

Remember, Fantasy Football is free to participate in, even if you don’t have a Sky Sports or Sky Bet account, and the total guaranteed prize pool up for grabs this season is £100,000. Of course, if you do decide to sign up for a new Sky Bet account, you’ll get to take advantage of the latest Sky Bet bonus code.
