Summer Transfer Window – Player Transfer Tips
Lionel Messi
- Current Club – Paris St Germain
- Previous Club(s) – Barcelona (2000-2021)
- Date of Birth / Age – 24th June 1987 – 35 yrs old
- Position – Attacker/Winger
- Club Career Stats – 885 appearances – 715 goals
- International Career Stats – Argentina – 174 caps – 104 goals
- Interested Clubs (Odds) – Barcelona (8/13), Inter Miami (9/1), Man City (20/1), Newcastle Utd (25/1), Chelsea, Manchester United (80/1), Bayern Munich (100/1)
- Our Transfer Tip – Barcelona (8/13)
Messi turns 36 this summer and he has made it pretty clear he wants to move back to Barcelona. The Spanish club may need to work things out financially to make the deal happen, but I think Messi wants to finish his career with the Catalan’s now he has nothing left to prove after the World Cup success back in December.

Neymar
- Current Club – Paris St Germain
- Previous Club(s) – Santos (2009-2013), Barcelona (2013-2017)
- Date of Birth / Age – 5th February 1992 – 31 years old
- Position – Attacker
- Club Career Stats – 584 appearances – 359 goals
- International Career Stats – Brazil – 124 caps – 77 goals
- Interested Clubs (Odds) – Man Utd (5/1), Man City, Newcastle Utd (14/1), Chelsea (16/1), Barcelona, Santos (25/1), Real Madrid (33/1)
- Our Transfer Tip – Chelsea (16/1)
PSG seem to have abandoned their ‘galacticos’ approach and with Messi set to leave, Neymar is likely to follow him out of the door. Man Utd have been strongly mentioned, but I think Neymar would be more likely to leave for Chelsea, given their London base and new boss being an ex PSG manager in Mauricio Pochettino.

Harry Kane
- Current Club – Tottenham Hotspurs
- Previous Club(s) – None
- Date of Birth / Age – 28th July 1993 – 29 years old
- Position – Attacker
- Club Career Stats – 500 apps – 296 goals
- International Career Stats – England – 82 caps – 55 goals
- Interested Clubs (Odds) – Remain at Spurs (11/8), Real Madrid (6/4), Man Utd (9/4), Chelsea (12/1), Bayern Munich (16/1), Paris St Germain, Newcastle Utd (33/1), Man City (60/1), Barcelona (80/1)
- Our Transfer Tip – Real Madrid (6/4)
Will Tottenham finally cash in on Kane? After another medal-less season with Spurs and turning 30 this summer, Kane’s critics argue he has to move on to land the trophies his career should demand. The bookies may feel he stays at Spurs, but I think now is the time to move for him and with Benzema leaving Real Madrid, he would slot in very nicely alongside Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr in the Spanish capital.

Sadio Mane
- Current Club – Bayern Munich
- Previous Club(s) – Metz (2011-2012), Red Bull Salzburg (2012-2014), Southampton (2014-2016), Liverpool (2016 – 2022),
- Date of Birth / Age – 10th April 1992 – 31 years old
- Position – Attacker/Winger
- Club Career Stats – 504 appearances – 206 goals
- International Career Stats – Senegal – 95 caps – 35 goals
- Interested Clubs (Odds) – Chelsea (11/2), Juventus (10/1), Newcastle (12/1), Inter Milan (16/1), Arsenal, Liverpool (20/1)
- Our Transfer Tip – Juventus (10/1)
Mane’s ill-fated spell at Bayern is set to end after 1 year following a bust up with Leroy Sane. I can’t see Mane coming back to England though, Liverpool don’t need him and neither do Chelsea or Arsenal and given his Liverpool links, a move to either Manchester Club looks off the cards. Italy may be a good option and with Di Maria likely to move on, Mane would be good fit for Juventus.

Declan Rice
- Current Club – West Ham United
- Previous Club(s) – None
- Date of Birth / Age – 14th January 1999 – 24 years old
- Position – Defensive Midfielder
- Club Career Stats – 247 appearances – 15 goals
- International Career Stats – England – 41 caps – 3 goals
- Interested Clubs (Odds) – Arsenal (4/6), Bayern Munich (4/1), Man Utd (5/1), Man City (12/1), Newcastle (20/1), Liverpool (25/1), Tottenham (40/1), Real Madrid (50/1)
- Our Transfer Tip – Arsenal (4/6)
West Ham value Rice at £150m according to David Moyes, but they won’t get that much for the England star. Arsenal lead the way, which suggests that they could move on from Thomas Partey or Granit Xhaka and that could be a smart move. With Liverpool seeking cheaper options, Man Utd having signed Casemiro and Man City already well blessed with defensive midfielders, Arsenal do look the most likely option.

James Ward-Prowse
- Current Club – Southampton
- Previous Club(s) – None
- Date of Birth / Age – 1st November 1994 – 28 years old
- Position – Central Midfielder
- Club Career Stats – 409 appearances – 55 goals
- International Career Stats – England – 11 caps – 2 goals
- Interested Clubs (Odds) – Newcastle (3/1), West Ham (4/1), Tottenham (8/1), Aston Villa, Brighton (10/1), Brentford (12/1), Nottm Forest (14/1), Fulham 16/1, Wolves, Liverpool (20/1), Crystal Palace (25/1), Leeds (50/1)
- Our Transfer Tip – West Ham (4/1)
One of the more under-rated midfielders in the Premier League, Ward-Prowse will be much in demand following Southampton’s relegation. A set-piece expert, and regular goalscorer from midfield, I think he will command a good price and if West Ham were to sell Declan Rice, then I think Ward-Prowse would be a great addition to their midfield.

Victor Osimhen
- Current Club – Napoli
- Previous Club(s) – Wolfsburg (2017-2019), Charleroi (2019), Lille (2019-2020),
- Date of Birth / Age – 29th December 1998 – 24 years old
- Position – Attacker
- Club Career Stats – 191 appearances – 97 goals
- International Career Stats – Nigeria – 24 caps – 15 goals
- Interested Clubs (Odds) – Chelsea (11/4), Man Utd (6/1), Bayern Munich, Real Madrid (10/1), Paris St Germain (18/1), Barcelona (28/1), Arsenal (33/1)
- Our Transfer Tip – Chelsea (11/4)
After a stunning campaign with Napoli, scoring the goals to lead them to the Serie A title, Osimhen is a hot property across Europe. Assuming Real Madrid can land Harry Kane, I see Chelsea and Man Utd being the main men in for the Nigerian with Chelsea perhaps outbidding the Red Devils to land his signature in a position where they really need an injection of pace and goalscoring prowess.

James Maddison
- Current Club – Leicester City
- Previous Club(s) – Coventry City (2013-2016), Norwich (2016-2018)
- Date of Birth / Age – 23rd November 1996 – 26 years old
- Position – Attacking Midfielder
- Club Career Stats – 316 appearances – 79 goals
- International Career Stats – England – 2 caps – 0 goals
- Interested Clubs (Odds) – Newcastle (6/5), Tottenham (7/2), Man Utd (5/1), Liverpool (9/1), Arsenal (10/1), Man City (14/1), Chelsea (16/1), Aston Villa (20/1), Bayern Munich (33/1)
- Our Transfer Tip – Newcastle United (6/5)
James Maddison is too good to play in the Championship for Leicester City next season and at age 26, this next move will define his career. I can see all the top teams being interested in the Leicester man but I think Maddison may plump for Newcastle United over Spurs or Chelsea due to their involvement in the Champions League.

Harry Maguire
- Current Club – Manchester United
- Previous Club(s) – Sheff Utd (2011-2014), Hull City (2014-2017), Leicester City (2017-2019)
- Date of Birth / Age – 5th March 1993 – Age 30
- Position – Central Defender
- Club Career Stats – 508 appearances – 28 goals
- International Career Stats – England– 55 caps – 7 goals
- Interested Clubs (Odds) – Tottenham (7/2), Aston Villa (9/2), West Ham (5/1), Newcastle United (7/1), Everton (16/1), Sheffield United (33/1)
- Our Transfer Tip – Tottenham (7/2)
Having been sat on the bench or in the stands for most of the current campaign, England skipper Harry Maguire will need to move on this summer to preserve his chances of being in the England squad and to get regular first team football. Of the most likely suitors, Tottenham, with their defensive issues, could be a great option that could work out for both teams and also the player.

Mason Mount
- Current Club – Chelsea
- Previous Club(s) – None
- Date of Birth / Age – 10th January 1999 – 24 years old
- Position – Midfielder
- Club Career Stats – 281 appearances – 58 goals
- International Career Stats – England – 36 caps – 5 goals
- Interested Clubs (Odds) – Man Utd (1/3), remain with Chelsea (3/1), Arsenal (16/1), Liverpool (25/1), Man City, Real Madrid, Tottenham (33/1), Bayern Munich (40/1), PSG, Inter (50/1)
- Our Transfer Tip – Man Utd (1/3)
It seems that the cat is out of the bag regarding Mason Mount’s future. Despite being strongly linked with a move to Liverpool a few months back and also being on the radar of Bayern Munich, it seems that the player will leave Chelsea for a deal of around £50m in order to sign for Man Utd in the coming weeks.
