The 2025 PDC World Darts Championship is set to be the 32nd edition of this prestigious tournament, organized by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). The event will take place from December 15, 2024, to January 3, 2025, at the iconic Alexandra Palace in London, England.

Tournament Structure

• Participants: A total of 96 players will compete. The top 32 players from the PDC Order of Merit are seeded directly into the second round. The remaining 64 players, comprising 32 qualifiers from the ProTour Order of Merit and 32 from various international qualifiers, will begin in the first round.
• Match Format: Matches are played in sets, with each set consisting of up to five legs. The number of sets required to win increases in later rounds, culminating in a best-of-13 sets final.

Prize Fund

The total prize fund remains at £2.5 million, with the champion receiving £500,000.

Defending champion

Luke Humphries enters as the defending champion, having secured his first world title in January 2024 by defeating Luke Littler 7–4 in the final.
