What Is The Bet365 Tournament Predictor?

Bet365 Tournament Predictor is a promotion which bet365 is offering to all eligible customers that hold an account with them.

The aim is to accurately predict the finishing positions for each of the four teams in each of the eight groups of the opening phase of the tournament.

From that, a set pf fixtures based on your predictions for the Round of 16 will be generated. You then need to predict the results of those games, the quarter finals, semi finals and the final.

For each correct prediction you make, you are awarded a number of points, with the number of points awarded increasing the deeper you go into the tournament.

At the end of the tournament the top 10,000 players will win a cash prize ranging from £1 to £100,000.

There is also a jackpot bonus of £1,000,000 up for grabs for anybody that can land a perfect set of predictions for the tournament, landing the maximum available 1,040 points.

The main terms and conditions of the offer, from bet365, are outlined below.

Terms And Conditions of Tournament Predictor

  • Maximum of one entry per person.
  • You are responsible for any tax obligations (reporting and / or tax settlement) that are applicable in your jurisdiction in relation to any deposits, stakes or entry fees or any winnings/prizes or losses as the case may be. Prize values displayed are exclusive of any tax deductions (where applicable).
  • Tournament Predictor is available at the discretion of bet365 and bet365 makes no guarantees regarding its availability. bet365 will not be responsible if Tournament Predictor feature is not available for technical reasons.
  • bet365 reserves the right to reclaim any prize-money awarded for a Tournament Predictor entry if the outcome of a fixture within the relevant game was determined in error.
  • bet365 reserves the right to accept or decline any Tournament Predictor entry.
  • bet365 reserves the right to amend, suspend or remove the Tournament Predictor feature (or any part of it) for any event, fixture or customer.
  • bet365 reserves the right to remove the Tournament Predictor feature for any customer or group of customers where it has reasonable grounds to believe that the customer or groups of customers is misusing the feature.

How Do I Make My Tournament Predictor Entry?

There are essentially two parts to making your entry into the Tournament Predictor promotion, but before you start you will need to log in to your bet365 account and then head over to the Tournament Predictor page on the website.

From here you can click on the button to start making your predictions for the promo.

  • Stage One – The Group Phase Predictions

For the first part of the tournament, the Group Stages, you are required to predict the finishing positions in the eight groups.

There are four teams in each group and they play each other once in the group stage of the tournament for a total of three games.

After this, the top two teams in each group move forward to the Knockout Stage of the tournament, while the teams finishing 3rd and 4th are eliminated from the World Cup.

To make your finishing position predictions, you simply click and drag the team in each group into the position you will think they will finish. You then repeat this process for all eight groups.

Once you have completed this, then click on the button to move onto the second stage of the prediction game.

  • Stage Two – The Knockout Phase Predictions

The draw for the knockout phase of the World Cup is already predetermined, as we know that the top team in Group A will take on the second placed team in Group B in the Round of 16 and so on.

So when you have made your predictions for the Group Stages, your predictions for the teams that will make it into the Knockout Phase will be placed against their predicted opponent.

Now you need to select which team will win each of the Knockout Phase games. By that we mean progress onto the next phase of the tournament either by winning in regulation time, extra time or via a penalty shootout.

You must do this for the eight Round of 16 games, the four quarter final games, the two semi-final games and the final itself.

Once you have done this, your entry is completed, and you simply need to click the button to make your entry into the promotion official.

Entries must be made by 4pm on Sunday 20th November UK Time to be eligible for the promotion and entries can be edited by players up until this time too.

How Are The Points Awarded For This Promotion?

As we mentioned previously, your position on the leaderboard is decided by how many points you earn by making correct predictions at each stage of the tournament.

However, the number of points earned per correct prediction changes as the tournament progresses, so we will outline how you earn your points during each stage of the promotion.

Group Stage Points

In the group stage you will receive 10 Points for every correct prediction where your prediction matches the finishing position a team achieves in their group.

However, if you correctly predict all four teams finishing positions within their group, then you will receive an additional 10 Points bonus.

That means that there are a potential 50 points to be won in each group (400 in total)

Knockout Stage Points

There are essentially four stages to the Knockout Stage: Round of 16, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Final.

A total of 160 points are available on each of the four stages and the points are allocated as follows:

  • Predict a Round of 16 winner – 20 points (8 games)
  • Predict a Quarter Final winner – 40 points (4 games)
  • Predict a Semi Final winner – 80 points (2 games)
  • Predict the Final winner – 160 points (1 game)

This means an additional 640 points can be won in the Knockout stages of the World Cup, which when added to the 400 available in the Group Stage, means the maximum number of points you need to win that £1m jackpot bonus is 1,040.

What Prizes Can Be Won On The Bet365 Tournament Predictor?

Bet365 have guaranteed that at least 10,000 prizes will be won by the top 10,000 players in the Tournament Predictor.

The top guaranteed prize is £100,000, and prizes of varying values are awarded down to the smallest prize of £1.

The full list of prizes available to be won, and the number of each prize available is shown below:

  1. £100,000 x 1
  2. £25,000 x 1
  3. £15,000 x 1
  4. £10,000 x 1
  5. £5,000 x 1
  6. £1,000 x 15
  7. £500 x 30
  8. £200 x 50
  9. £50 x 400
  10. £25 x 500
  11. £10 x 500
  12. £5 x 1000

Alongside these guaranteed prizes, if any player lands a perfect set of predictions, then they will win a special jackpot bonus prize of £1,000,000.

Should more than one player land a perfect set of selections, then the bonus prize will be shared amongst all winning players.

It won’t be long until we are at 4pm on Sunday 20th and waiting for the game to start, so do remember to make your predictions as quickly as possible and get your entry in before the deadline!
