This week we will see the new Premier League Champions, Liverpool, be welcomed onto the pitch at the ground of their closest challengers Manchester City, whose defeat at Chelsea in the week handed Liverpool the title, in what is likely to be the most eagerly anticipated and most exciting game ever contested behind closed doors.
City will have plenty to prove against a Liverpool side that have lost just once this season and who beat City 3-1 at Anfield back in September. However, this will also be the fifth game Manchester City have played since the restart, while Liverpool will be playing just their third game and will have had a over a week to prepare for the game.
The title race may be over but there is still plenty of needle for bragging rights alone between these two teams and Thursday’s game promises to be a cracker and one that betting fans will doubtless be looking for some great action on.

For this week’s massive clash, given that the game won’t have any meaning in the Premier League as Liverpool are already Champions, while Manchester City are probably going to be more focused on the FA Cup and the Champions League over the remainder of the season, we could well see a more open game than we usually get between these two well-matched sides. With that in mind, we felt this was a perfect opportunity to showcase one of the best football betting features at bet365 Sport. The Bet Builder option.
What is Bet Builder?
Bet Builder is a feature on bet365 Sport that is available on any football match. It allows punters to
put together selections that would not ordinarily be available to be paired together in a single bet, into a single bet, based on a number of different and popular betting markets.
The number and types of markets available within the Bet Builder service will differ from game to game, with the more high-profile games likely to have more betting markets available to select from on them.
Bet Builder operates in a similar way to an accumulator or other multiple selection bet in that the punter will add their chosen selections to their bet slip and on the slip, you will see the odds on your selections update in real time to show you clearly the odds of the bet you want to place.
Once you have your Bet Builder wager complete, you can add this to your Bet Slip to place your bet in the same way you would place any bet with bet365.
It is obviously easier to see the Bet Builder feature in action and we have done this in the section below with some added screenshots to show how the feature works and looks on the bet365 Sport site.
An Example of a Bet Builder Bet on the Man City v Liverpool Fixture
The first thing to do is to navigate to the Soccer section of the bet365 site and then select the 
league or competition your fixture is taking place in. In this example, it is the Premier League game taking place on Thursday night between Manchester City and Liverpool.
Click on the fixture to load up the main bet screen and then in the tabs across the top of the section just above the Full Time Result betting market, you will see different tabs. Click on the Bet Builder tab.
This then loads up the Bet Builder screen. Here you can click on the How does Bet Builder work button for more details about how it works, or you can start to build your bet by clicking on the Add Selection option.
This opens up a pop up menu which lists a number of different markets available on your choice of game for Bet Builder bets. Simply select which market your chosen bet is likely to be in. For this game between Manchester City and Liverpool, the first bet we want to make is in the Result market section, so we would click on Result to access those bets.
This then brings up the next page where you can change the selections in Bold. In this example 
you can change the Match section to either 1st Half, 2nd Half or 10 Minute, as well as Match. We want Match, so we highlighted that. You can then select what the result of the game will be, so that would be Man City to win, Liverpool to win or the draw.
Here we are selecting a Liverpool win which you can see is 11/5 in odds. When you have the bet you want to make, you then click Add this Selection to add it to your Bet Builder Bet.
You then simply follow the same process, adding different bets to your Bet Builder and seeing the odds increase until you have a bet you are happy with and which you want to make.

You can also see in the screen shot that this bet would pay out at odds of 33/1. All you need to do is click the yellow odds to add that bet to your bet slip, enter your stake and then place your bet. Your Bet Builder bet is now places and you can sit back and watch the action unfold on Thursday night.
