The Super Bowl may be over, but don’t be fooled, this is as busy a time in the NFL as any point during the season.

The back offices of all 32 NFL teams are busy working out which players will be leaving the club as free agents, who will be offered a new contract, who will be franchise tagged, plus they will be busy evaluating all the different prospects from the NFL Combine.

That is all on top of preparing for the 2023 NFL Draft (which comes at the end of April) and making changes to the coaching staff that will guide the team going forward.

That means that there has been a lot of activity on the rosters for each team and also with backroom staff and more.

In this article, we are going to recap some of the biggest news that has happened across the NFL over the last couple of months.

Currently, bet365 Sport has the Kansas City Chiefs as the 11/2 favourites to repeat their success of this year, with the Bills 13/2, the 49ers 7/1, the Eagles 8/1 and the Bengals 9/1.

NFL Combine Main Stories, Movers And Shakers

QB – Anthony Richardson (Florida)

A stunning combine performance by the athletic former Florida QB has seen his draft stock increase massively thanks to his dominant performance in every event that he participated in.

With a new QB combine record for vertical jumps, a huge broad jump and a blisteringly fast 4.43 40-yard-dash, Richardson has now been tipped as a potential top 10 prospect for the draft, with some even having him as a top five pick.

He did show some rawness in his passing compared to other QBs on show, but those athletic measures are hard for any GM to ignore.

QB – Bryce Young (Alabama)

The buzz about Bryce Young was not if he was good enough to play in the NFL, but if he is big enough to play the position as a professional. Young measured just over 5ft 10’ on the tape measure at the combine and was 204 pounds, shy of the stated weight of 210 that he intended to reach.

With issues surrounding other smaller quarterbacks like Johnny Manziel and Kyler Murray, Young has to convince any potential GM that he has the physical tools required to be a success at QB in the NFL.

Young didn’t engage in many activities at the combine and is believed to be targeting his pro day in a few weeks time to impress NFL Scouts by when he should have bulked up to 210.

QB – C.J.Stroud (Ohio State)

Stroud produced the best all round display from all quarterbacks at the NFL Combine, especially in the passing drills where he produced a nerveless and almost faultless display of passing over many different routes.

He may not be as athletic as Richardson, but he is the most polished prospect and NFL ready quarterback of any that we saw at the combine, including Will Levis.

There is a compelling case to be made here that it could be Stroud, not Richardson, Levis or Young that is the first quarterback taken in next months NFL Draft in Kansas City.
