After a short break for international games, domestic football is back this weekend with our Premier League Preview for Game Week 5 in the EPL!
Most Premier League players have been busy representing their countries this past fortnight. Therefore, it is going to be interesting to see how ready each of the teams is for the resumption of action.

All games kick off at 3pm unless otherwise stated. All odds shown were correct with bet365 Sport at the time of writing but may have changed in the meantime.
Wolves take on Liverpool at Molineux in a game that they won 3-0 last season against a disappointing Liverpool side. However, Jurgen Klopp’s team are unbeaten this season and that loss is the only one in the last 11 between the teams with Liverpool winning nine of those games. All of Liverpool’s last wins at Molineux have come via a 1-0 scoreline. The Reds will also be without the suspended Virgil Van Dijk. Tip – Mo Salah (Liverpool) to score at any time – 20/21
Crystal Palace don’t score very often at Villa Park. Their goal in a 1-1 draw there last season was their first since 2013. Villa have won four of the last seven between the two, Palace winning just the once and while it is Palace that sit higher up the table in 7th compared to 10th for Villa, It is the home side that the stats suggest are likely to come out on top here and with two home wins already this season, I think this will be a third. Tip – Moussa Diaby to score at any time – 9/4.
After a good opening day win at Everton, Fulham have added just one more point to their total, though that did come away at Arsenal. They face a Luton Town team that have played just three games, but have lost all of them and who are finding life at the top level very tough. Mitrovic’s sale has left Fulham a little short of goals but I still feel that they have enough quality in attack to earn the victory here. Tip – Fulham to win and both teams to score – 13/5
Manchester United’s sole win in this fixture in the last four games came via a penalty shootout in the FA Cup Semi Final last season. Brighton have won all of the other games, including a 2-1 win in this fixture last season. The Seagulls have also started this season well with three wins and one loss from their four games so far and they have scored more goals (12) than any other team in the division. United’s home form is outstanding though, but this could be a tricky one for them. Tip – Draw – 11/4
With Ange Postecoglu now at the helm and Harry Kane sold, Spurs began the season with a new look and a new shape and to be fair, it has worked well. Three wins and a draw from their four games is a great return and they sit second in the table behind City. The Blades have had a tough start with just one point from four games so far and in truth, it does look like being a long and hard season for the Sheffield side. I can’t see things getting any easier for them here. Tip – Tottenham to win to nil – 6/5
West Ham are the next team up to try and burst Manchester City’s bubble. The Hammers have started the season very well and lie fourth in the table on ten points, just one goal behind Liverpool in third and two behind Spurs in second. City though are the only team with a 100% record after four games and their record against West Ham is frightening, winning 14 of the last 17, drawing two and losing just one. A tough one to call hence the following tip. Tip – Erling Haaland to score first – 9/4
Two defeats in their last two games have put Newcastle a bit on the back foot and there is already talk of pressure mounting on Eddie Howe, which is ridiculous. Brentford are no pushovers either with Thomas Frank’s team unbeaten in their four games so far this season. That said, Newcastle badly need a win to put themselves on the right track once again and despite Brentford’s resilience, I think the home side will claim the win. Tip – Kieran Trippier to score at any time – 8/1
The last five games between these teams have seen two wins apiece and one drawn game. However, Chelsea have won the two most recent encounters between the two, including a 3-1 win in this fixture last season. For me though, Chelsea are still finding their feet with Mauricio Pochettino and I am not sure that the balance of the side is quite right. Bournemouth are a solid team, but they lack the quality Chelsea has in abundance. That said, Chelsea’s form is so poor over the last 6 months or so, this could well be a surprise. Tip – Dominic Solanke to score any time – 11/5
Everton picked up their first points and goals of the season in their 2-2 draw with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane last time out, but they put their poor home form to the test against Arsenal here on Sunday. They did win this fixture last season, but given the form of the two teams right now, I think the Gunners should be considered the strong favourites here. Goodison will be bouncing for this one, but I think Arsenal will have the killer instinct in front of goal – Tip – Arsenal to win and both teams to score – 7/4
The final game of the weekend sees Nottingham Forest, who have six points and lie 9th in the table, take on bottom of the table Burnley who have not earned a point this season in any of their three games. Vincent Kompany will have his team ready for this one I’m sure, but Forest are looking stronger this season than last and I can see them picking up another big three points here too. Tip – Nottingham Forest to win and both teams to score – 10/3
