Last week, Chris Moneymaker shocked the poker world by announcing that he had inked a deal with Americas Cardroom, an illegal cardroom that poker pros in the United States hate but keep coming back to.

Following days of exhaustively renegotiating the contract, Americas Cardroom and Moneymaker settled on a deal that neither could refuse. Americas Cardroom gets the services of one of the world's most beloved poker players, and Moneymaker gets a guaranteed 3-year, 20,000 cheeseburger contract and the emotional security that comes from being well-fed through 2023.
