The Aintree Grand National 2024 Festival had already brought us a couple of days of fantastic racing, but Saturday is the big day when the signature race of the meeting is contested – the Randox Grand National 2024.
The Grand National 2024 will see a smaller than usual field after race organisers agreed to decrease the number of runners from the usual 40, down to 34.
From its beginnings in 1839, the Grand National has become one of the most popular races in the world, and it is the one day a year that many people will have a bet on the race to try and land a winner, or a good priced each way place!
Last year, it was 7/1 favourite Corach Rambler that landed the win and the horse is back to try and win the race back to back this year.
However, in a field packed with plenty of depth, there are numerous other horses that could land a win to deny Corach Rambler that rare honour.
Bet365 Sport is already offering odds on the race and non-runner no-bet ante-post odds have been available for a while with the company.

The weather conditions at Aintree are set to be around 14 degrees centigrade, with a moderate breeze and the chance of rain. The going is likely to be good to soft, soft in places.
Limerick Lace (Each Way) – 16/1 at bet365 Sport.
So who are the tips I’d back for the 2024 Grand National on Saturday?
There's lots of options this year with plenty of money on Corach Rambler to repeat Tiger Roll's back to back success of a few years back. For me, the odds are a little too short on that option.
My pick to win is the fantastic Mahler Mission (16/1) or Limerick Lace (16/1) while Coko Beach (40/1) is an excellent each way shot.
