Jackpot365 is one of those features that looks self-explanatory until you actually try to use it. It appears as a small panel inside certain bet365 Casino games and on certain sports betslips, ticking upwards with four prize amounts. What it is, what it costs, and how a prize is actually decided are less obvious, so this guide walks through the whole thing step by step: the casino contribution, the sports fee, the tier system, opting in and out, and which slots were carrying the panel at the time of writing.
Jackpot365 is bet365's own in-house progressive jackpot system. The important thing to understand from the start is that it is not a slot. There is no “Jackpot365 game” you can load and play. Instead, it is an optional add-on that sits on top of other products: eligible casino games on one side, and eligible sports bets on the other.
When you opt in, a small extra contribution is added to each qualifying stake, and that contribution buys you entry into a shared progressive prize pool. Because the pool is fed by opted-in players across the platform, the displayed amounts grow over time until each tier is won and resets.
The feature launched at bet365 Casino in December 2025 and was extended to the sports betslip in June 2026, so it now spans both sides of the site. The two sides are managed separately, which we'll come back to below.
On the casino side, the mechanics are simple. While you are opted in and playing an eligible game, every paid round costs an additional 10p on top of your chosen stake. That 10p is your Jackpot365 contribution for that round.
A couple of worked examples make it concrete:
Notice the proportional effect. On a £1 stake, the add-on is a 10% surcharge. On a 20p stake, it is a 50% surcharge. The flat 10p weighs far more heavily on small-stakes play, which matters when you're thinking about your session budget.
Crucially, the 10p changes nothing about the underlying game. The reels, paytable, bonus features and odds of the base slot are exactly the same whether you are opted in or not. Jackpot365 runs alongside the game rather than inside it.
Since June 2026, Jackpot365 has also been available on eligible sports bets. The principle is the same — an optional extra contribution attached to a qualifying stake — but the fee is not necessarily the same 10p you'll see in the casino. On sports, the contribution is displayed on the betslip itself for each eligible bet, so the slip is your source of truth for what you'd pay. Check the amount shown there before you confirm.
Two other points are worth flagging. First, the sports opt-in is separate from the casino opt-in. Switching Jackpot365 on for slots does not switch it on for your football accas, and vice versa. If you only want it on one side of the site, that is entirely possible. Second, not every bet qualifies — if the Jackpot365 option doesn't appear on your slip, that bet isn't eligible.

We deliberately haven't quoted amounts here, because the values move constantly as contributions come in and prizes are paid out. The live Jackpot365 panel always shows the current figure for each tier, and that panel is the only number worth trusting at any given moment.
One thing the tier display does not do is tell you anything about your chances. A pot that has grown large is not “due” — a bigger number on the screen does not raise the probability of a win on your next round, and no prize at any tier is ever guaranteed. This is the part that trips people up. The Jackpot365 result is decided entirely separately from the result of the game or bet you attached it to. You do not need to land a particular symbol combination, trigger a bonus round or win your sports bet to take a tier. Equally, hitting a big win on the base game does not make a jackpot any more likely.
In practice, that means a losing 20p spin can coincide with a jackpot award, and a winning spin can coincide with nothing from Jackpot365 at all. The two outcomes simply run in parallel.
When a tier is won, the award is paid as cash directly to the winner's balance — there's no bonus wallet or wagering hoop to jump through. Larger awards may be subject to additional checks before the money lands, which is standard practice for sizeable payouts, so a short delay on the biggest tiers shouldn't alarm you.
Participation is entirely optional, and toggling it is straightforward:
Remember the two sides are independent: opting in on the casino does nothing to your sports bets, and the reverse is also true. You can dip in and out session by session without any penalty — the only thing that changes is whether the contribution is added to your stakes.

The eligibility test is refreshingly simple: if the Jackpot365 panel appears in the game, it can be offered on that game; if there's no panel, don't assume the game qualifies. The catalogue can and does change, and availability can also differ by country, so the panel itself is always the definitive check.

Treat this as a dated snapshot rather than a complete official catalogue. Titles are added and removed over time, so before you commit to a session, open the game and look for the panel — or browse the Jackpot365 section within the casino lobby to see the current line-up.
A slot's published RTP (return to player) figure describes the base game only. It tells you, over an enormous number of spins, what proportion of stakes the game is designed to return. It says nothing about your Jackpot365 contribution, because the 10p is not part of the game's stake — it's a separate payment into a separate prize pool with its own, unpublished, mathematics.
So when you weigh up whether the add-on is worth it, don't let the base game's RTP do the thinking for you. The honest framing is this: the 10p buys entry into four progressive pots whose award is decided independently of the reels, and the base game's percentages neither include nor improve that entry. Opting in doesn't dent the game's RTP — the game behaves identically either way — but it does raise the total cost of every round.
Because the contribution is flat rather than percentage-based on the casino side, it's easy to underestimate its cumulative cost. The arithmetic is worth doing before a session, not after:
Neither approach is right or wrong, but low-stakes players in particular should go in with clear eyes: the add-on is proportionally most expensive exactly where stakes are smallest. On the sports side, the same logic applies using whatever contribution your betslip displays. A sensible habit is to set your session budget with the contribution included, and to remember you can opt out at any point mid-session if you'd rather every penny went on the base game or bet.
