When comparing these two gambling sites, let's start from the start. Out of the two, bet365 is older. The roots of bet365 stretch back to 1970s Britain with a chain of bricks and mortar bookies on the UK high street.
Then in 2000, Denise Coates, the daughter of the original owner, used that business as leverage to expand into the online sports betting arena. A bold move for a once traditional gambling outfit.

Dafabet is probably the most well-known brand of the lot, but it also has Nextbet, Zipang Casino, Lucky Baby and Casino Jamboree under its belt. Although it has expanded its operations around the world, to this day Dafabet is more of a household name in Asia.
It's really interesting looking at bet365 compared to Dafabet for a number of reasons. The different offerings at these sites are illuminating and help indicate what's important to both of these regional giants.

Well, this is a tricky question, because the answer really depends on the region where you're based. But from our research, we couldn't find any region where you could play poker or bingo at Dafabet. Over at bet365, the layout is pretty similar and very intuitive. The main difference here is that there are far more sports to bet on. When we were researching this article, the sports were tipping around 50 markets. Both sites offer in-play — or live betting — which is an essential touch in this day and age.
We really love the selection of promotions available at bet365. The offers change fairly frequently, but punters can expect various types of offers such as risk-free bets, accumulator bonuses, early payouts, as well as the best odds guaranteed for some premium events.
The offers at Dafabet are also pretty strong, which include free bets on certain markets and cashback. It's also worth noting that Dafabet has a loyalty scheme for sportsbook customers, whereas bet365 doesn't. Having said that, the strength and variety of the bet365 promotions more than make up for this, in our opinion.
Whether you're a customer of bet365 or Dafabet or, indeed, both, we're betting you're pretty pleased with the casino selection across both sites. Playtech powers the online casinos at both of these major sites, which means you know that you're going to get a certain level of quality.
However, there are still some differences between the two. As you might expect, both casinos focus heavily on Playtech slots. At Dafabet, we found just over 70 slots during our research. Meanwhile, at bet365, there are in excess of triple that number available. Both sites had all the big hitters, but there is something we love about having just that bit extra to choose from.
It was the same deal when it came to table and card games. There is a decent selection at Dafabet, but there are a few more titles at bet365. Interestingly, blackjack tables were absent as an option for regular casino games at Dafabet at the time of writing. However, it was available as a Live Casino game, which is good to keep in mind if you're a fan.
One really nice feature of the Dafabet casino is that there's a tab of games referred to as “Asia's Finest.” Click in and you'll see some top titles with Asian themes. This is where it becomes particularly clear that this is an Asian-born and bred operation.
The promotions at Dafabet are really interesting too. At the time of writing, there was a lot on offer. You could choose from promotions with prizes such as free spins, bonuses and cash prize draw entries.
But we also spotted the chance to win a car, which is of course very appealing! Over at bet365, there are a handful of casino promotions, but at least when we were researching, not quite as many as Dafabet.
However, one promotion that really sticks out to us on bet365 has got to be the exclusive Dual Drop Jackpots. Despite being on the Playtech network, bet365 has carved out two jackpots for its community of players alone. Only at bet365, you've got the chance to trigger the weekly jackpot or the community jackpot, with a minimum payday of €116,660.
If you're in a region where you can choose between these sites, it might be obvious at a glance which one is the best one for you. For example, if you're big into poker or bingo, it's got to be bet365.
However, if you're looking for somewhere to predominantly place casino and sports bets, deciding between bet365 or Dafabet becomes a little trickier. We have to say that the variety of promotions available at Dafabet is impressive, as is the option to join a sportsbook loyalty scheme.
Having said that, the variety and quality at both the bet365 sportsbook and casino tips the scales in the favor of bet365 for us. Add in the fact that you can also dabble in poker and bingo at bet365 in many regions, it becomes a real no-brainer, especially if you are looking specifically at these games.
