bet365 Withdrawal UK: Times, Limits and Why It’s Not Working

bet365 UK withdrawal times and limits for all eight methods, plus the real reasons a withdrawal gets blocked – NPM01, COP01, verification and the closed-loop rule.

Most bet365 withdrawals in the UK are quick: bet365 aims to process a request within two hours, and every UK method except Apple Pay shows a 1–4 hour processing window. Apple Pay is instant.

The delays and refusals people run into are almost never about speed. They are about which method you deposited with, whether your account is verified, and whether the bank details match your name. This guide covers the real UK figures, then the reasons a withdrawal gets blocked.

bet365 withdrawal times and limits (UK)

These are the UK figures, taken from bet365's own Help Centre. Ireland and other jurisdictions differ — if you bank in euros, see our bet365 withdrawals in Ireland guide instead.

MethodProcessing timeMinimumMaximum
Apple PayInstant£5£20,000
Debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro)1–4 hours£5£20,000
Bank transfer1–4 hours£5£100,000
Trustly (instant bank transfer)1–4 hours£5£100,000
Pay by Bank1–4 hours£5£20,000
PayPal1–4 hours£10£5,500
Revolut Pay1–4 hours£5£5,500
paysafecard (myPaysafe)1–4 hours£5£2,000

Two things worth noting. Skrill, Neteller and credit cards are not UK withdrawal methods — you will see them listed on plenty of affiliate sites, but they belong to other jurisdictions, and UK credit-card gambling has been banned since 2020. And the processing time is only bet365's half of the job: once the money leaves them, your bank sets the pace.

Why the money can still take days

A debit card withdrawal processed in four hours may still take up to two banking days to appear, and an international debit card can take up to five banking days. Banking days mean Monday to Friday — a Friday evening request may not move until Monday.

If you deposited with a UK Mastercard and your bank is eligible, bet365 may offer a fast withdrawal via bank transfer instead. That is usually the quickest route back to a card account.

Why can't I withdraw from bet365?

Five reasons cover almost every case.

1. Your account isn't fully verified

Verification is a hard requirement. Until it is complete you cannot withdraw at all, regardless of method or balance. Our guide to verifying your bet365 account walks through the documents and the common rejections.

2. NPM01 — no active payment method

This error means there is no usable payment method registered on your account. Go to My Account, then Bank, and check what is registered before trying again.

3. COP01 — your bank details failed the name check

Bank transfers run a Confirmation of Payee check, which compares the name on your bet365 account against the name on the bank account. COP01 means the details you entered didn't pass.

Two things trip people up: the account must be a personal account, not a business one, and it must be in your own name. A joint account in a partner's name, or a company account, will fail.

4. You're trying to withdraw to a different method

bet365 operates a closed loop: winnings go back to the method you deposited with. If that isn't possible, bet365 will tell you and route the withdrawal to your bank account by bank wire instead.

So if you want PayPal withdrawals, deposit with PayPal. Depositing by card and then asking for PayPal will not work. Note also that a Mastercard debit deposit defaults to a bank transfer withdrawal, though you can switch it back to the card.

5. Your card is registered outside the accepted area

Debit card withdrawals can only go to cards registered in the UK, Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man or the Republic of Ireland. A card registered anywhere else cannot receive a withdrawal, and the funds will be returned by bank transfer.

Who will the payment come from?

bet365 uses payment providers for bank transfers, so the credit on your statement may read Hillside or Worldpay rather than bet365. That is normal and not a sign of a problem.

A few practical points

  • Bet Credits can't be withdrawn. Only the winnings from them reach your Withdrawable Balance — see our guide to bet365 free bets and Bet Credits.
  • Withdrawing to a non-UK account, or in a currency other than GBP or EUR, takes longer.
  • paysafecard withdrawals go to a myPaysafe account, and you may need to select “Change withdrawal method to paysafecard” first.
  • Check your balance split. The account menu separates Withdrawable from Bet Credits; the headline total is not all yours to take.

How to withdraw, step by step

  1. Select the account icon at the top right of the screen.
  2. Choose Bank, then Withdraw.
  3. For a bank transfer, select your bank country and enter your details — they must match a personal account in your name.
  4. Enter the amount, keeping to the minimum for your method.
  5. Select Withdraw.

If nothing arrives after the stated window and your bank has had a full banking day, contact bet365 support with the date, amount and method to hand.
