Champions League 2026 play-off archive: draw and first-leg results
All eight Champions League play-off first-leg results from 17–18 February 2026, with the original draw and pre-match assessment kept as an archive.

The 2025/26 Champions League knockout play-off first legs took place on 17 and 18 February 2026. This archive keeps the draw and eight-match subject of our original preview, with the completed results beside the pre-match assessment. The fixtures have finished; the old bet365 prices and ticket-giveaway entry instructions are not current.
What the play-off draw decided
UEFA’s draw announcement paired the 16 play-off teams across eight two-legged ties. Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Sporting CP and Tottenham Hotspur had already reached the last 16. The first legs took place on 17–18 February, with return matches on 24–25 February.
These are first-leg match scores, not aggregate results or a list of the eventual qualifiers. A team could win on either of these nights without yet securing a last-16 place.

Tuesday: the preview beside the results
Our original assessment treated Galatasaray–Juventus as a potentially tight fixture and leaned towards Juventus. Galatasaray’s 5–2 win went the other way. UEFA records a 2–1 Juventus lead at half-time, followed by four home goals after the interval and Juan Cabal’s dismissal.
For Benfica–Real Madrid, the preview expected Benfica’s home approach to test Madrid’s counter-attacking threat. Madrid won 1–0 through Vinícius Júnior’s second-half goal. Dortmund–Atalanta was described as relatively balanced and potentially open; Dortmund instead won 2–0, with Serhou Guirassy and Maximilian Beier scoring before half-time.
The Monaco–PSG assessment favoured PSG but questioned how comfortable a meeting of familiar domestic opponents would be. Monaco led 2–0 before PSG recovered to win 3–2; substitute Désiré Doué scored twice. A winning team forecast alone doesn’t validate an old price or every related goals selection.
Wednesday: where the expectations fell short
Newcastle were the original preview’s preferred side against Qarabağ. They won 6–1, with Anthony Gordon scoring four in the first half. That records the result, not a claimed winning bet: the archive has no customer’s accepted stake, price or bet slip.
The Club Brugge–Atlético preview anticipated a cautious opening. The 3–3 result didn’t fit that description. UEFA records Atlético leading 2–0 at half-time, Brugge drawing level, then Christos Tzolis equalising late after an own goal had put the visitors back ahead.
Olympiacos–Leverkusen had looked a close match in the original assessment; Patrik Schick’s two second-half goals gave Leverkusen a 2–0 win. For Bodø/Glimt–Inter, the preview leaned towards Inter’s experience but warned against expecting a routine result. Bodø/Glimt won 3–1 through goals from Sondre Brunstad Fet, Jens Petter Hauge and Kasper Høgh.
What the old betting lists do and don’t show
The original coverage listed match-result prices and markets such as Win from Behind, Win to Nil, Win Either Half, Win Both Halves and Score in Both Halves. Those names describe different conditions. A final score alone won’t answer a question about each half, the sequence of goals or the exact period on an accepted wager.
We’ve removed the unverified price snapshots rather than present them as current odds or a reconstructed record of available bets. The earlier implied-probability discussion also didn’t establish betting value: converting a decimal price into a percentage doesn’t prove a team’s true chance or a profitable selection.

The ticket giveaway was a separate promotion
