One of poker’s big names has taken down a World Series of Poker gold bracelet during the WSOP Online festival, which is currently running on WSOP.com. The UK’s Chris Moorman won the second bracelet of his poker career on Wednesday.

Moorman joins a handful of players that taken down the second WSOP bracelet of their career. Prior to Moorman, players to have previously won a bracelet included David Peters (who won his third) as well as Bradley Ruben, Allen Chang, Ryan Leng, and Manig Loeser.

The victory for Moorman came during the $800 No Limit Hold’em 8-Max Turbo, the 29th event of the WSOP Online, which has been running since July 1st. In addition to taking home the bracelet, Moorman also wins a six-figure prize of $102,406. Moorman, who has won over $6 million in live tournament winnings is perhaps most well known for his dominance online, where he has accumulated over $18 million in total online winnings.

After the victory, Moorman tweeted that he “clicked some buttons and won a WSOP bracelet tonight.”

Moorman has had some notable success at the World Series of Poker over the last decade-plus. Since 2008, Moorman has cashed 37 times in the WSOP for over $3 million in winnings. His first WSOP bracelet was won during the $3,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed, which he won an impressive $498,682 first-place prize.

What’s next in the World Series of Poker 2021?

The main World Series of Poker doesn’t get underway until September 30th, but there is a lot of action occupying players’ time through the WSOP Online. WSOP.com is offering bracelet events for New Jersey and Nevada players through August 1st. Starting on August 8th, Pennsylvania players will get eight WSOP bracelet events of their own available on the newly-launched WSOP.com. These eight events are only available to players in PA.

International players could enter WSOP Online bracelet events starting on July 26th, where the $50 Return No Limit Hold’em event begins with eight starting flights on GG Poker. The series on GG Poker will run until September 12th.
