UEFA Competitions Semi Final 1^st Leg Ties Previews And Tips

After more than ten months of competition, we have now reached the semi-finals of all three UEFA club competitions in Europe.

Just six teams remain in with a chance of landing one of the three trophies on offer; the Champions League, the Europa League and the newest competition of the three, the Europa Conference League.

Two of the favourites to win this trophy meet at the Bernebeu with holders Real Madrid seeking to knock out another English opponent in this competition, the sixth in succession they have met over the last two years. City though are in superb form at the moment and I think if one team can go to Madrid and pick up a win, then City are the team that can do that.

A very rare Milan derby in the Champions League could not be more delicately poised. Both teams have beaten each other this season in Serie A, Inter knocked Milan out of the Coppa Italia too but it is this set of two games that will be most keenly anticipated.  I can’t split them at the moment and I think it may need the second leg next week to decide the winner.

This should be a cracking game between two teams that have won this tropjhy nine times in total. Sevilla are special in this competition, winning it every time they reach the semi-finals. Juventus though are a formidable opponent and I can see this game heading into the second leg with all things level.
