All the games this week are the first leg of the semi-finals with a final to be played between the victors at a neutral venue.
We will bring you details of all six semi-finals, as well as information about where and when the final for each competition will be played.
So let’s begin with a look at the two biggest games taking place this week in the biggest club competition of all – the Champions League.
The Champions League Final will be held on Saturday 10th June at 8pm UK Time at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul Turkey.
Two of the favourites to win this trophy meet at the Bernebeu with holders Real Madrid seeking to knock out another English opponent in this competition, the sixth in succession they have met over the last two years. City though are in superb form at the moment and I think if one team can go to Madrid and pick up a win, then City are the team that can do that.
Probable Teams
Real Madrid – (4-3-3) – GK – Courtois, DR – Carvajal, DL – Camavinga, DC, Alaba, Militao, MC – Modric, Valverde, Kroos, AMR – Rodrygo, AML – Vinicius Jr., AC – Benzema
Manchester City – (3-2-4-1) – GK – Ederson, DC, Ake, Dias, Akanji, DMC, Rodri, Stones, AMR – Silva.B, AML – Grealish, AMC – Gundogan, de Bruyne, AC – Haaland
Our Tip – Manchester City to win – 11/9
A very rare Milan derby in the Champions League could not be more delicately poised. Both teams have beaten each other this season in Serie A, Inter knocked Milan out of the Coppa Italia too but it is this set of two games that will be most keenly anticipated. I can’t split them at the moment and I think it may need the second leg next week to decide the winner.
Probable Teams
AC Milan – (4-2-3-1) – GK – Maignan, DR – Calabria, DL – Hernandez, DC – Kjaer, Tomori, DMC – Tonali, Krunic, AMR – Messias, AML – Leao, AMC – Bennacer, AC – Giroud
Inter Milan – (3-5-2) – GK – Onana, DC – D’Ambrosio, Acerbi, Bastoni, DMR – Darmian, DML – Dimarco, MC – Barella, Brozovic, Mkhitaryan, AC – Lukaku, Correa
Our Tip – Draw – 11/5
This year’s Europa League Final takes place on Wednesday 31st May at the Puskas Arena Park, in Budapest, Hungary.
Jose Mourinho has a fine record in this competition and would love to follow up last season’s Europa Conference League win with a second European competition win here. Bayer Leverkusen are a side in form though and Xabi Alonso’s team have picked up some good results on the road and I expect them to do that here by earning a draw.
Probable Teams
AS Roma – (3-4-2-1) – GK – Patricio, DC – Mancini, Ibanez, LLorente, DMR – Zalewski, DML – Spinazzola, MC – Cristante, Matic, AMC – Wijnaldum, Pellegrini, AC – Belotti
Bayer Leverkusen – (3-4-2-1) – GK – Hradecky, DC – Kossounou, Tah, Hincapie, DMR – Frimpong, DML – Bakker, MC – Andrich, Demirbay, AMC – Diaby, Adli, AC – Hlozek
Our Tip – Draw – 12/5
This should be a cracking game between two teams that have won this tropjhy nine times in total. Sevilla are special in this competition, winning it every time they reach the semi-finals. Juventus though are a formidable opponent and I can see this game heading into the second leg with all things level.
Probable Teams
Juventus – (3-5-1-1) – GK – Perin, DC – Sandro, Bonucci, Bremer, DMR – De Sciglio, DML – Kostic, MC – Rabiot, Locatelli, Miretti, AMC – Di Maria, AC – Chiesa
Sevilla – (4-2-3-1) – GK – Dmitrovic, DR – Montiel, DL – Telles, DC, Nianzou, Bade, DMC, Rakitic, Gueye, AMR – Suso, AMC – Ocampos, AML – Lamela, AC – En-Neysiri
Our Tip – Draw – 27/10
This year the Europa Conference League Final will take place on Wednesday 7th Jujne at the Eden Arena in Prague in the Czech Republic.
Fiorentina’s form has been very odd in this competition, playing poorly at home, but then losing away and then playing well at home and poorly away. However, at the business end of the tournament, I’d expect the greater experience of the Italian side to prove the decisive factor in this first leg tie.
Probable Teams
Fiorentina – (4-3-3) – GK – Terracciano, DR – Venuti, DL – Biraghi, DC – Milenkovic, Igor, MC – Bonaventura, Mandragora, Barak, AMR – Gonzalez, AML – Sottil, AC – Jovic
FC Basel – (3-1-4-2) – GK – Hitz, DC – Lang, Kasim, Pelmard, DMC – Xhaka, AMR – Ndoye, AML – Burger, AMC – Diouf, Millar, AC – Zeqiri, Amdouni
Our Tip – Fiorentina to win – 2/5
West Ham’s win over Man Utd at the weekend sets them up nicely for this first leg tie at home to AZ Alkmaar who held Ajax to a 0-0 draw at the weekend. The Dutch team clearly have plenty of talent, but you’d expect the Premier League side to come through in the first leg.
Probable Teams
West Ham – (4-2-3-1) – GK – Fabianski, DR – Kehrer, DL – Cresswell, DC – Aguerd, Ogbonna, DMC – Rice, Soucek, AMR – Bowen, AML – Benrahma, AMC – Paqueta, AC – Antonio
AZ Alkmaar – (4-2-3-1) – GK – Ryan, DR – Sugawara, DL – Kerkez, DC – Hatzidiakos, Beukama, DMC – Reijnders, Clasie, AMR – Odgaard, AML – van Brederode, AMC – Mijnans, AC – Pavlidis
Our Tip – West Ham to win – 3/5
