If you were a betting man and could place such a bet at bet365 Sport, which 11 players would you pick as your team of superstars for tomorrow?
For this article, I am going to pick players that are aged 21 or under at this present moment in time.
Some may be household names already, others may not be.
The aim is to pick a team that in 5-10 years’ time, will be filled with some of the best players in the world.
For the article, I am going to pick a team of 11 players. One for each position in a 4-3-3 formation, who I feel will be superstars of tomorrow.
I will also select a current player, or coach or similar, who I think could well mature into a fine manager in a few years time.

So, let’s get cracking by starting with who our pick is for goalkeeper.
Already a full cap for the USA, Gabriel Slonina burst onto the scene in the 2021/22 season for MLS side Chicago Fire. The young shot stopper enjoyed a fine season despite Chicago’s struggles.
So much so that Chelsea made a move to sign the 6ft 4’ keeper, before loaning him back to Chicago to complete the MLS season.
Tall, powerful and an excellent shot stopper, Slonina could be the reason why Chelsea allowed Eduoard Mendy to make the move to Saudi Arabia.
A stocky and pacy right back, Rensch broke through into the Ajax team three years ago as a 17 year old, but faced tough competition from a number of players for the right back spot in the first team.
However, he made the place in the team his own last season, making 36 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and also making his debut for the Netherlands national team.
Rensch now looks set to make that slot in the Ajax team his own given his pace and ability to get forward and assist in attacks.
Versatile and hugely talented, Camavinga starred for Rennes as a 16 year old in central midfield before earning a move to Real Madrid. In Madrid, he has filled in largely at left back, as well as midfield, but he gets into the team in the left back role here.
Great on the ball, a clever passer, intelligent with excellent stamina, Camavinga has excelled at left back and is now a firm favourite with Madrid fans and earned himself a big new contract after his performances last season.
He also already has 10 full caps for France and figures to be a prominent member of the French national squad going forward.
Perhaps the most coveted young central defender in the world at present, Gvardiol’s performances for Croatia at the 2022 World Cup Finals propelled him to stardom across the globe.
Plying his trade at Red Bull Leipzig, many were not surprised by Gvardiol’s excellent World Cup as he has been a consistent player for club and country for the past 3 years.
Strongly linked with Manchester City, Gvardiol would likely be the first choice centre back in this team.
The tall Portuguese defender broke into the Benfica first team this past season and produced performances of such quality that he remained there, making 44 appearances for the Portuguese side and scoring an impressive five goals.
A mature, intelligent player who reads the game well and who has good technical skills, he has also made four appearances for Portugal aged just 19.
Silva is one of the most exciting young defenders to emerge in Europe this past season and his stock is only going to rise from now on.
Gavi broke into the Barcelona team as a 16 year old when Xavi took over as manager and quickly established himself as an excellent anchorman in midfield.
His skills were such that a call up to the full Spain squad ensued and a new contract agreed to ward off potential suitors for the super-talented youngster.
He has already made 99 appearances for Barcelona aged 18, scoring five goals and has appeared in 21 games for the Spanish national team too, scoring three times.
After making an impact with Birmingham City as a 16-year-old, Bellingham made the move to Dortmund where he shone with Borussia over the next three years at the heart of their midfield.
Already an England regular, and rated by many as their most exciting talent in an already talented group, Bellingham completed a big money move to Real Madrid this summer after starring for England at the World Cup and also for his club once again.
Barcelona’s other prodigiously talented youngster is Pedri, who plays a more attack minded role for the club. Signed from Las Palmas in 2020, the youngster has amassed 146 games for Barcelona, scoring 20 goals.
He also has 18 caps for Spain, although he is yet to score for his country.
Versatile and able to play in a number of advanced positions, he will be the key man in the attacking midfielder role here.
The Liverpool youngster became the Premier League’s youngest player at his previous club Fulham, and has since gone on to become an established member of the Liverpool first team squad.
He made 32 appearances in the Premier League for the Reds last season and scored five goals across all competitions.
He is capable of playing a deeper lying role in midfield, as well as a more natural attacking role down either flank.
It’s strange to think that having already been an England regular for the past few years, and a regular for Arsenal, that Bukayo Saka is still just 21 years of age.
I can see him maturing into one of the finest wingers in world football, if he is not already. He needs to add more goals and more assists to his name each season, but over the next few years I can see that happening.
As he gains in experience and maturity he will be a key player for club and country for the next decade.
Moukoko burst onto the scene a few years ago when he trained with the first team squad for Dortmund at the age of 15 and made his debut aged 16 years and one day old.
He has an outstanding scoring record at youth level and despite 12 goals in 56 appearances for Dortmund in the Bundesliga, he is tipped to go on to become one of the best strikers in the world over the next few years.
He had his best year for Dortmund last season scoring 7 times in 26 Bundesliga games and he is starting to make real progress for someone so young.
Already a legend at Dortmund and Manchester City, I expect Gundogan to go on to finish his career with Barcelona and then move into management at or near the end of his contract.
The German midfielder is one of the most astute readers of the game in the world today. That tactical nous, allied to his natural intelligence, makes him excellent managerial fodder.
I see him being one of a new breed of managers coming through over the next ten years to take on the baton from the likes of Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, Carlo Ancelotti and more.
