Bet365 are well known for introducing new features to their site and now they have another. It’s called Player Builder, and it promises football fans an exciting way to build up their own multiple-selection bets and accumulators, this time based on an individual player’s performance in a match!
You may recall that we have talked about bet365’s Bet Builder+ service. Well, this new option runs parallel to that, offering customers the chance to formulate their bets on individual player markets rather than team or match-based metrics.
In this post, we are going to take a look at the new Player Builder feature, where you can find it and on what games, how it works, what type of players you tend to be able to bet on and we’ll also look at some real-life screenshots from bet365 Sport which show the different types of bets available (from FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifying matches played on the 9th and 10th June 2025).

Player Builder is a new feature on bet365 Sport where you can pick from a number of players available from teams taking part in a major competition.
Once you click on one of the players available, this brings up a list of markets you can select that are related to that player’s performance in a forthcoming game.
You can then select from the available markets for that player to build up your chosen bet. This can include just one selection from those available, or can be made up of several selections to form an accumulator bet or similar.
Once you have selected the bets you want to add to your bet slip, you then simply place your bet as you would any other accumulator bet at bet365.
To find the Player Builder markets available at bet365, you need to follow the steps below.
No. If you think about it, there is an obvious reason why bet365 can’t offer Player Builder bets for every player.
Let’s use the World Cup Qualifiers shown in our screenshots above as an example. These games see teams selecting a 23-man squad for each international break. That means for every match, 46 players would have to have Player Builder markets devised for them.
However, only 22 players can start the game, which would mean 24-player builder markets would be based, at best, on a fraction of a game, if they are used as a substitute. And in many cases, if a player does not play, then the bet would be void.
As such, bet365 offers Player Builder markets on players that are very likely to play in matches and also on more attacking-based players, as they have a range of more appealing betting markets available to them as opposed to goalkeepers or more defensive players.
What that means is that it tends to be the top attackers and midfielders from top teams in the big competitions that are available for Player Builder bets. This is shown in the example screen where you can see the likes of Lionel Messi, Raphinha, Vinicius Jr and Luis Diaz are selected for Player Builder bets.
The main difference between Bet Builder+ bets and Player Builder bets is that Bet Builder+ bets, in the main, are more focused on team-based parameters and markets (though there are some popular player markets available with Bet Builder+ bets such as first, last and anytime goalscorer markets).
Player Builder bets are more focused on the individual performance within a match, although the Match Result section of the Player Builder bet is based on the performance of the team in the match.
As you can see, while these offer punters at bet365 a different way to bet on a big game, there is an overlap between the two. This means that if you can’t find all the bets you want to make in one of the two options, then you may be able to cover all those bets by using both options.
Most customers at bet365 will be very familiar with how the Player Builder feature works, especially if they have used the Bet Builder+ feature on the site. It works in much the same way.
In our example, we have picked three markets available on Liverpool and Colombia star Luis Diaz for the game between Argentina and Colombia.
We selected:
As you add the selections to your bet slip, the odds for the accumulator bet based on these selections change to reflect the options added. In the screenshot, you can see these three bets placed as an accumulator would return at odds of 26.00 (25/1) if successful.
