The figures below come from bet365’s official UK report, which displays an update time of 19 August 2026 at 15:42. Its table measures the percentage of singles bets placed in the UK on the Premier League Outright Winner market.

United and Chelsea together accounted for 33.66% of the singles bets in that published table. Arsenal’s 10.34% describes a different measure from how often a team appeared in outright multiple bets; the report discusses that distinction, but does not provide a complete comparable multiple-bet table.
What “best-backed” means here
The denominator matters. These percentages describe singles-bet counts at one bookmaker within the specified UK market. They are not the percentage of all UK football fans, a share of the money staked, or a measured probability that a club would win the title. The report does not supply a sample size or the exact collection window, so this table cannot establish either.
The six entries sum to 71.23%, leaving 28.77% outside the listed entries. That remainder is an arithmetic consequence of the table, not a breakdown of bets on the other clubs. Nor does the ranking show how many individual customers placed bets: bet counts and customer counts need not be identical.
