Youngsters who could have a breakout Premier League season in 2023/24 to be exact!
Every season we seem to have an exciting batch of young players come through to make their mark in the top division.
This past season, the likes of William Saliba (Arsenal), Harvey Elliott (Liverpool), Oliver Skipp (Tottenham) and Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton) have all emerged as EPL talents.
So, who will be the players on our lips at the end of the year?
Ben Doak (Liverpool)

The 17-year-old Scottish winger was signed by Liverpool from Celtic in 2022 and he is already making a big impression on Jurgen Klopp with his directness and ability on the ball.
Doak has made just four league appearances for Celtic and Liverpool, but I would expect to see him much more a part of Liverpool’ first team squads in the Premier League, as well as playing more often in domestic cup competitions.
The Scottish ace has been included in Liverpool’s pre-season touring squad and has already impressed Jurgen Klopp with his ability, leading many to speculate he could follow Bajcetic into the first team squad on a regular basis.
Lewis Hall (Chelsea)

Chelsea are well known for buying in talent and their massive squad overhaul has continued this past summer. However, Lewis Hall’s emergence in midfield has been a rare case of a Chelsea academy player making the grade.
Comfortable at left back, or in midfield, Hall made nine appearances for Chelsea last season and was their academy player of the season.
Competition for places at Chelsea is always going to be tough but Hall has shown he has the quality to make the breakthrough at Stamford Bridge this season.
Rico Lewis (Manchester City)

Rico Lewis is one of the fast emerging young stars from a crop of talented academy players coming through the ranks.
He can play in a number of positions, full back and central midfield, but he appears best suited to an anchoring midfield role, where he has already shone for City in a number of games last season.
With a number of players having left the club this summer, and only one brought in so far, Lewis could well have a much more significant part to play this season as City defend the treble.
Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United)

A passing of the torch… ❤️ pic.twitter.com/jcR6TMdkSs
Already regarded as one of the exciting new generation of players at Manchester United, Garnacho should be featuring a lot more often for the Red Devils this season.
With Jadon Sancho’s form up and down Garnacho could well see a lot more action for United this year. The Argentinean is already tied to a long term deal.
His pace and skill are what marks him out from other players and I’d certainly expect him to feature in a lot more games for United this season in the Premier League.
Stefan Bajcetic (Liverpool)
📊 No midfielder averaged more interceptions per 90 minutes (1.55) for #LFC in the Premier League last season than Stefan Bajčetić.

Great to see him making progress on his return. pic.twitter.com/TfRl5u2dQj
Bajcetic made an impact last season as a midfielder for Liverpool, where he made 11 appearances, scoring one goal before his season was ended prematurely by injury.
With Liverpool undergoing a serious rebuild in midfield, Bajcetic may well get more game time this season alongside new signings Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai and that could well be an exciting new look for the Reds.
Elegant and poised, the Spaniard is a great passer and his inventiveness with the ball could be a weapon for the Reds as he matures.
Cole Palmer (Manchester City)
Riyad Mahrez replacement?
— 4lex (@4lex_mcfc) July 18, 2023
We've already got him at home and his name is Cole Palmer. pic.twitter.com/lXvUQhrDmP
Palmer has been on the fringes of the Manchester City team for a couple of seasons now, making 18 appearances scoring 2 goals. However, after a great showing at the U21 Championships this summer has shown he is ready for more action.
With Manchester City seeing a number of their players move on this summer, Palmer should get more opportunities in the City side, notably in the cup competitions and as a part of the squad rotation Pep Guardiola employs.
If he does then the tricky winger may save City millions on a replacement for some of the big names to have moved on this summer.
James Trafford (Burnley)

An incredible tournament from James Trafford 🦁@Jamestrafford6 // #U21EURO pic.twitter.com/jIGomBnw2S
England U21’s goalkeeper Trafford has made a £15m move from Man City to Burnley this summer. Not only that he was key in England’s eventual win over Spain to lift the European U21 Championship this past summer.
Trafford has long been regarded as an exciting prospect at City but with Ederson and Ortega in front of him, Burnley have snapped him up as the long term replacement for Nick Pope and it looks like being a shrewd signing.
The young keeper will likely start for Burnley and by the end of this season, we may well be talking about a potential England call up of he continues his rapid development.
Cameron Archer (Aston Villa)
Unai Emery confirms Cameron Archer and Jhon Duran both have roles to play in what promises to be a hectic 2023/24 campaign for #AVFC.
— John Townley (@johntownley11) July 26, 2023
Duran should return to training next week after missing Villa's tour of the USA through injury.
Archer has spent two very successful spells on loan in the Championship over the last couple of years. His 18 goals in 40 appearances (20 apiece for Preston and Middlesbrough) alongside sporadic appearances for his parent club in the League and Cup saw him become a key part of the England 21 team.
He’s scored 6 goals in 11 games for the England U21s and played a key role in the team’s success at the Euros this summer.
Aston Villa do have some quality strikers, but Archer has shown he deserves a chance at the club and if he gets it this season, he could well take it.
Evan Ferguson (Brighton)

1️⃣ Evan Ferguson – 13
2️⃣ Youssoufa Moukoko – 13
3️⃣ Arda Güler – 13
4️⃣ Matej Jurasek – 12
5️⃣ Milos Kerkez – 12

Ferguson made a big impact last season for Brighton as a young striker. With 6 goals from 20 appearances, I expect him to progress rapidly from there into one of the best young strikers in the league.
Brighton pipped Liverpool to his signature as a youngster and he has repaid that faith already. He should be leading the line for Brighton much more often this season and I think he could top 15 goals in the Premier League if he continues his development.
A powerfully built striker, excellent with his back to goal and a comfortable finisher with both feet, Ferguson has a chance to become one of the most exciting prospects in the Premier League if he fulfils his talent.
Facundo Pellistri (Manchester United)
Facundo Pellistri:

"Yes, I spoke with him [Ten Hag] and we are working together to find the best club, the best option. I hope to be able to play. In my position and at my age, what you want is to play. We want to find the best solution."❤️🇺🇾 pic.twitter.com/OhMaRQ1bjf
The diminutive Uruguayan has actually played more times for his country than he has for Manchester United in the Premier League, but he has over 60 games experience in Uruguay with Penarol and Spain with Alaves.
Creative and tricky, but not with the greatest goalscoring record, if he can add goals to his game, he could start to pressure United’s incumbent wingers for a more regular role in the side.
For this season though, expect him to make another switch out on loan with a number of clubs believed to be interested in securing the Uruguayan services.
