The co-main event will feature Tom Aspinall, the interim heavyweight champion, against Curtis Blaydes. Aspinall is favored to win, but Blaydes, a veteran contender, poses a significant challenge. This fight is crucial for both fighters as they aim to solidify their positions in the heavyweight division. Aspinall has the opportunity to put things right after blowing his knee out within seconds against Curtis Blaydes last time out. Now, he not only has the opportunity to expel any remaining demons, but can walk away retaining his UFC Interim Heavyweight title.

The interim title is rarely defended, but as the division awaits Jon Jones' next move with the outright title, Tom Aspinall refuses to remain idle.
This will mark only the third instance in UFC Heavyweight history where an interim champion defends their belt. In a rematch with significant consequences, 1/4 favorite Tom Aspinall welcomes 3/1 underdog Curtis Blaydes back to England.
The first encounter between these fighters offers little insight, as it ended abruptly in under 20 seconds. Aspinall's routine low kick resulted in a severe injury, tearing his MCL, meniscus, and damaging his ACL. Although the fight was ruled a TKO win for Blaydes, even he has downplayed the victory.
Aspinall has since used the setback to refocus and enhance his skills, preparing to right past wrongs in front of his home crowd. He aims to solidify his case for a fight with the current UFC Heavyweight champion, Jon Jones.
While Blaydes is the underdog, his exceptional wrestling skills mean a submission win at 22/1 or a stoppage win at 9/2 are not out of the question. Aspinall, the champion for a reason, is favored for a KO, TKO, or DQ win in under 1.5 rounds, which might be worth considering at 11/8 odds.

UFC 304 is set to feature a highly anticipated clash between King Green and Paddy Pimblett. The event will take place at Co-Op Live in Manchester, England. King Green, formerly known as Bobby Green, has had a challenging journey in the UFC. Growing up in the foster system and overcoming personal tragedies, Green has become a fan favorite. At 37, he remains a formidable competitor, having won three of his last four fights. His rivalry with Paddy Pimblett, who is undefeated since his UFC debut, adds an extra layer of excitement to this matchup.
With this being the last fight on his current UFC contract, Paddy Pimblett has given himself a huge challenge when he comes up against a Top 15 opponent in King Green. Green is the 4/5 favourite for this fight, and rightfully so given he has twice the professional experience of the Liverpool lightweight.
Pimblett has certainly made plenty of noise whilst in the UFC, both inside and outside the octagon, which means heโs 1/1 in this close fight and hopeful of beating the American to take his ranking spot.
Although this might be the last fight on his contract, Pimblett is far from over in the UFC as he looks to raise his stock in Manchester. Seven previous wins have seen him grow into a globally recognised athlete within the world of MMA, but he now needs to back up his promise of knocking Green out, priced at 6/1.
Itโs difficult to know where the experienced Green could finish this fight, given his last three wins have come via a decision, a KO, and a submission; with the fight to finish inside the distance at 6/5. Ranked as the #15 lightweight in the UFC, โKingโ Green has very little to gain by accepting the fight against the unranked Pimblett, but silencing the Brit has been pinpointed as his biggest motivator.

The main event of UFC 304 will see Leon Edwards defending his welterweight title against Belal Muhammad. Edwards, known for his technical skills and risk-averse style, has been on an unbeaten streak since December 2015. Muhammad, on the other hand, is making his first title fight appearance and is known for his wrestling-heavy style.
For Leon “Rocky” Edwards, this fight also marks a rematch of a bout that previously ended prematurely due to an injury. In their prior encounter, Edwards was getting the better of Belal Muhammad before the fight was halted in the second round. Now, Edwards is set to put everything on the line in a highly anticipated main event, filled with animosity and with the UFC Welterweight title at stake.
It has been three years since their initial bout was declared a โNo Contestโ after Leon Edwards accidentally poked Belal Muhammad in the eye, halting the fight where Edwards was dominant. The tension between them has only grown, with plenty of heated exchanges over the years. Muhammad, who has amassed five victories since that incident, is now a 2/1 underdog as he enters the main event of UFC 304, aiming to dethrone the current champion.
Despite Muhammad's impressive winning streak, Edwards enters the fight with an even more formidable record. His remarkable head-kick knockout of Kamaru Usman to win the UFC Welterweight title remains a highlight. Edwards, who is the 2/5 favorite to retain his title, has not lost a fight in nearly ten years, boasting a 13-fight undefeated streak.
The rematch raises the question: will Edwards demonstrate that Muhammad's escape in their previous fight was fortuitous, or will Muhammad prove his claim to the title by defeating Edwards and becoming the new welterweight champion?

The Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC) has announced two significant rule changes in MMA, effective November 1. The ban on 12-to-6 elbow strikes has been removed, a rule that has been controversial for years. Jon Jones, the current UFC heavyweight champion, was disqualified in a fight against Matt Hamill in 2009 for using this strike. Jones has called for his record to be amended to undefeated following this rule change.
The definition of a “downed fighter” has also been amended. Previously, having two hands on the canvas made a fighter downed, making it illegal to throw kicks or knees at their head. The new rule states that a fighter is considered grounded when any part of their body other than their hands or feet is in contact with the canvas. This change aims to clarify the rules and reduce the ambiguity that often led to controversial decisions.
Canelo Alvarez is set to fight Edgar Berlanga on September 14 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This event coincides with UFC 306, making it a significant weekend for combat sports. Alvarez, the undisputed super middleweight champion, has a record of 61 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws. His opponent, Edgar Berlanga, is undefeated with 22 wins. This fight is part of the Mexican Independence Day weekend, a date traditionally associated with major Canelo Alvarez fights.
The co-main event will feature Erislandy Lara, the WBA middleweight champion, against Danny Garcia, a former two-division champion. This matchup adds to the excitement of the event, promising a night of high-stakes boxing.
Diego Lopes, a top featherweight fighter, has hinted at a potential fight at the “Riyadh Season Noche UFC” event. This event, originally branded as UFC 306, will be held at Sphere in Las Vegas. Lopes, ranked #12 in the UFC featherweight division, aims to break into the Top 10 with a win at this event. His recent victory over Dan Ige at UFC 303 has set the stage for another significant fight.
