What makes Banker bets so flexible though is that unlike bets such as Patents and similar, you don’t have to cover every possible combination of bet. You can select to back just one combination, or two, three, four or all of them listed.
By selecting or deselecting bets, you can reduce your total stake, but there is another way to do this.

Let's say I want to place a banker bet and make a number of selections onto my bet slip. I then select the Banker option and begin by selecting Manchester City as my Banker bet, I then also picked Liverpool to beat Leicester as a second banker bet.
This means now that Manchester City and Liverpool both must win in order for any of the other selections I opt to back to stand a chance of winning. The outcome of each banker is crucial—if either banker loses, the outcome is that the entire bet fails.
However, with me now having two Banker bets, the number of lines I need to cover with this bet has decreased to 15. Meaning that for the same six selections, but with two Banker bets, to cover all the different options is a wager of £7.50.
Of course, if you were to add another Banker to the selection, the bet would be cheaper still (£3.50 for the same £0.50 unit stake outlined above). You can select more than one banker bet from your picks, but if any banker bet fails, all bets will also fail.
It is this flexibility to play with the number of banker bet selections and which of the combinations of selections to pair with your banker bets that make these bets so adaptable for football betting.

In the six-selection example above, covering every listed combination gives 31 lines with one banker, 15 with two bankers and seven with three bankers. Fewer lines reduce the total stake at the same unit stake; they do not make the outcomes more certain. Every line depends on each banker it contains. If one of those bankers loses, all those lines lose. There is no guaranteed return or profit.
