The 2025/26 bet365 Champions League Tournament Challenge has finished. This archive explains the game described at its September 2025 launch and checks the Matchday 7 predictions previously published here against the final scores. Those picks covered 20 and 21 January 2026; they are not recommendations for matches still to come.

What the 2025/26 game asked players to predict

In its 17 September 2025 launch announcement, supplier Incentive Games described a free-to-play game in which players selected a win, loss or draw before each fixture. Correct outcomes earned points calculated as a ten-point stake multiplied by the selection’s odds. Its example was 2.5 multiplied by ten, producing 25 points.

That calculation concerns game points, not a cash stake or a betting return. A higher-priced correct selection could earn more points, but the price alone did not make the prediction more likely to succeed. There is no verified strategy here that guarantees a leaderboard prize.

Historical prizes and entry deadline

The same supplier announcement described weekly matchday leaderboards, including a £20,000 jackpot, and an overall season leaderboard with a £50,000 grand prize. It stated one entry per person and closed entries at the final’s kick-off on 30 May 2026. These are historical launch details, not an invitation to enter that expired edition or a statement of current UK eligibility.

This archive does not reconstruct individual payout tiers, credit conditions, tie-breaks or selection-lock rules without the edition’s complete terms. A prize headline is not proof that every account qualified, and a later edition’s rules cannot establish the earlier game’s conditions.

Matchday 7: the original picks beside the results

Home, Draw and Away below describe the original outcome selections. Scores list the home team first. Club-name abbreviations have been tidied, but the selections have not changed after the results.

What the prediction record shows

Comparing each original selection with its home-first score gives 13 correct outcomes from 18 picks, with five misses. That is a result count, not a Tournament Challenge points total, a leaderboard placing or a betting profit. The record does not contain the accepted game prices and all scoring adjustments needed to calculate an entry’s final points.

Keeping the misses visible matters: a retrospective table should not replace losing selections with the actual winners. Nor does this one matchday establish a future success rate. A pick being correct also says nothing about what a separate real-money bet would have returned without its stake, market and accepted price.
