Julian Nagelsman may be resigned to losing star striker Robert Lewandowski this year, but the German giants have already signed a top-quality replacement in the shape of Sadio Mane and given the strength in depth of their squad in all positions, it is hard to see them not claiming yet another Bundesliga league title in comfortable fashion.
Dortmund have been dealt a big blow by losing Haaland to Manchester City, while the likes of Frankfurt, Leverkusen and Red Bull Leipzig can all beat Bayern in a single game but cannot match the consistency of the Munich side over the course of the entire season.
As such, I do expect Bayern to win the Bundesliga again and they may well have established an unassailable lead by the time we reach January or February 2023.
Scotland – Premier League – Celtic (8/13) or Rangers (5/4)
I think either of the two Glasgow giants are worth considering for this bet as they are by far and away the best two teams in their division and in truth, they are each others rivals for the SPL title.
Both teams could open up a 10 point gap, and both could lose it to the other team, which makes a bet on either of them somewhat appealing, particularly Rangers who are 5/4.
All it would take is a couple of bad results for one team, followed by a defeat in an Old Firm derby and a big gap can quickly follow, so I think both these teams are worthy of considering for this bet.
