A disappointing home draw with KuPS on the final round of action condemned Palace to a playoff round match rather than a seed into the Round of 16 directly. They finished 10th in the table with 10 points and face Bosnia-Herzegovina side Zrjinski in the two legged playoff round. After a 0-0 draw at home Palace beat AEK Larnaca 2-1 after extra time in Cyprus to progress into the quarterfinals.

A disappointing campaign for the Dons saw them eliminated finishing second bottom of the 36-team league, picking up just two points.
