Rocky. Such an iconic series of films. There is literally nothing not to love about these thrilling watches. And if you're wondering where to start, watch the debut film in the series. Rocky burst onto cinema screens in 1976. Starring Sylvester Stallone, it's a classic underdog tale of someone trying to punch above his weight (yes, pun intended!). It's genuinely a brilliant watch, but you could watch it just for the training montages alone.
Based on a true story, the 2011 movie Moneyball shows that paying attention in math class really does pay off sometimes… This is the true story of how the Oakland As used sabermetrics to build a successful baseball team on a shoestring budget. It's full of heart and Brad Pitt. What else could you want?

Seabiscuit is the rousing tale of an overlooked race horse who warmed hearts during the Great Depression by rising to unexpected success. Enormously popular, this 2003 film stars Tobey Maguire among others and was nominated for a whopping seven Academy Awards. A critics hit as well as a fan favorite, this is a sports movie with a lot of gumpshin.
