Not Fair! These Two Brothers Have Been The Same Weight For Years But Bill Perkins Hasn’t Given Them A Dime!
Duluth, MN – Wow, talk about a raw deal!
Just when you think there might be some justice in this world, two Duluthian brothers have revealed that even though they have weighed the same amount since high school, Bill Perkins hasn’t paid them so much as a nickel. What a cheapskate!
The two brothers, Frank and Eli Wilson, took to social media to put Bill Perkins on blast, and to also see if maybe anyone else felt like giving them money for no good reason.
The tweet that got the poker world buzzing:
Background on Jaime and Matt’s bet with Perkins
The drama really started last year when Bill Perkins made his famous weight loss bet with Staples brothers – Jaime and Matt. Jaime is a well-known PokerStars Twitch streamer while Matt is a well-known brother of a PokerStars Twitch streamer.
Early last year, Perkins gave the Staples brothers fantastic odds that they couldn’t weigh the same amount in one year. The two brothers happily accepted the bet while Perkins went off to short-sell natural gas futures or something.
Incredibly, at the start of the bet Matt weighed 47 pounds while Jaime weighted… a lot. But through rigorous diet and exercise, both ended up weighing just under 200 pounds. As a reward the duo collected over $500,000 from Bill Perkins, who then declared bankruptcy and moved in with Erick Lindgren.
OK not really, but you can imagine how Frank and Eli Wilson felt once they heard the news.
Frank and Eli direct blame to Perkins
BCP was able to speak with Frank about the situation while his brother was busy complaining about literally everything on Twitter.
“This is absurd. Eli and I have both weighed 165 for the past year! And does anyone just give us money? Yes, our parents do all the time because we’re millennials. But does anyone else? I don’t think so!” Frank and Eli have both been unemployed for the last fourteen years after dropping out of college to play online poker full time. And by “play online poker” we mean “try to get free money on bonuswhores.com.”
The two have been successfully blaming Chris Ferguson and Howard Lederer for their financial struggles, but have now really shifted their condemnation towards Perkins.
Perkins refused to comment on the situation when we tried to contact him. His secretary noted that he was unable to talk because he was “having lots of sex on his yacht,” but come on, we’ve all heard that one before.
At the end of the day, the good news is that all four brothers are a healthy weight and can hopefully maintain their health for many years to come.
Update: If the Bill Perkins thing doesn’t work out, the brothers have hedged by starting a GoFundMe page that has so far raised 350 million dollars.
