It is the final day of action in the Premier League this weekend and while the major issues have already been resolved – Manchester City are the Champions, Manchester United the runner’s up and Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United have been relegated, there is still plenty to be decided in terms of the qualification for next season’s Champions League and Europa League.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester City are involved in a three-way battle for just two open spots in the Champions League and it could be an extremely close finish, with it being possible that all teams could finish the season on the same number of points.

One of those three teams along with West Ham, Tottenham, Everton or even Arsenal will be representing the Premier League in the Europa League next season, although who that is will be decided by results on Sunday.

There is even the possibility we could have five teams in the Champions League next season from the EPL, with just two spots taken by Europa League teams.

With so much at stake for a number of teams, little wonder that there is huge interest in the betting markets for these games this weekend and if you would like to have a bet on the games, then bet365 Sport offers a great selection of bets on the game, both pre match and in play.

Let’s now take a look at the ten final games of the Premier League season and give you our top tips for each.

Premier League – Matchday 38 Tips

Arsenal v Brighton

Arsenal will know that a win in this game could give them a chance at Europa League football next season. They need Everton or Spurs to lose or draw their games and to win this game to finish seventh. I think with Brighton safe and with Arsenal having won their last four, the Gunners should be confident at least of competing their end of the bargain here. Tip – Arsenal to win – 3/5

Aston Villa v Chelsea

Chelsea know a win here and they qualify for the Champions League. A draw or defeat could see them miss out depending on how Liverpool and Leicester do in their games. The Londoners do have another chance to qualify through winning the Champions League but they’ll want this wrapped up at the earliest opportunity. Villa though are a tough team to beat but I think Tuchel’s men have the quality and experience to take the win they need. Tip – Chelsea to win – 9/20.

Fulham v Newcastle United

Fulham are already relegated, and work is starting on next season for them now. Newcastle could in theory finish as high as 12th in the table depending on how results went, but even so, I think Steve Bruce’s team will be glad to see the end of the season and hppeful that their ownership issues can be sorted out over the end of season period. Tip – Draw – 11/4.

Leeds United v West Brom

West Brom are already down and Sam Allardyce has refused the chance to remain on next season. Leeds have had an excellent first season back in the Premier League and they could finish as high as 8th in the table. I don’t think they’ll quite get that here, but even so, I fully expect them to earn another excellent victory to keep up their excellent end of season form. Tip – Leeds Utd win – 4/9.

Leicester City v Tottenham

There’s a double whammy in this game. Leicester must better Liverpool’s result given that the Reds hold a +4 better goal difference than the Foxes. If both teams win, Leicester need to better Liverpool’s score by five goals in order to go ahead of the Reds. However, Spurs need points to ensure they get Europa League qualification next season and as such, I think this one will be very tight. This is likely the ground where the final places in the Champions and Europa League will be decided on Sunday. Tip – Draw – 3/1.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace

Having beaten Burnley 3-0 in midweek, Liverpool went fourth in the table and know a win at home to Palace, who they beat 7-0 away from home in December, should be enough for them to finish at least fourth in the table, barring a massive Leicester win over Spurs. Palace won’t make it easy though but even so, I do expect Liverpool to take the win they need having rediscovered their best form of late. Tip – Liverpool Win – 1/7.

Manchester City v Everton

I can see Pep Guardiola maybe resting some players in this game with the Champions League final in mind, btu even so City should have more than enough to get something here. Everton have been much better on the road than at home this season but this is a huge test for them and they need a win really to stand any chance of a Europa League spot and I can’t see them getting that here. Tip – Manchester City win – 2/5.

Sheffield United v Burnley

Sheffield United are already down and work has started on the team next season and I expect them to put up a good display against Burnley here. A win for the visitors could move them to 16th in the table and while neither side has great form at the moment, I just fancy Burnley to grab the only goal of the game to claim the win. Tip – Burnley to win – 7/5.

West Ham United v Southampton

West Ham know that they only need one point from this game to confirm a place in the Europa League next season and a top six finish in the Premier League, which would be a remarkable achievement for David Moyes’ team. They fully deserve to test themselves in Europe next season and I think they will achieve that with a solid win here. Tip – West Ham to win – 7/10.

Wolves v Manchester United

There’s not a huge amount riding on this game. Wolves can’t finish any higher than 12th but could finish as low as 15th if other results go against them. United will finish second in the table but have lost two and drawn one of their last three Premier League games and with a Europa League Final coming up against Villarreal on Wednesday, they won’t want to go into that game with just one win in six. As such, I am expecting United to land another away win here. Tip – Man Utd to win – 17/10.
