Cameron Young won the 2026 Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, finishing one stroke ahead of Matt Fitzpatrick. The tournament ran from 12 to 15 March in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. This page is now an event archive, not a forthcoming-tournament preview or a source of live betting prices.

The PGA TOUR’s final results and payouts report records Young’s closing 68, his 275 total and the one-stroke margin. He earned $4.5 million from the $25 million prize fund. Scottie Scheffler finished tied 22nd at five under; defending champion Rory McIlroy finished tied 45th at level par.
The finish at Sawgrass
The PGA TOUR’s official international highlights script describes Young birdieing the seventeenth to draw level with Fitzpatrick. At the eighteenth, Fitzpatrick missed the par putt he needed to force a play-off, leaving Young as champion. This was Young’s second PGA TOUR victory.
Reading the table
The totals are strokes taken across the tournament. A score of −13 means thirteen under par, not a betting price. “T5” means tied fifth: the three players listed there finished on the same total. The winner’s one-stroke margin is the difference between 275 and 276; it does not describe a handicap bet or an each-way settlement.
For a historical bet, the accepted market and place terms matter. An outright winner, a finishing-position selection and a match-up are separate markets, even when they concern the same golfer.
