The Aintree Grand National Festival had already brought us a couple of days of fantastic racing to enjoy, but today is the big day when the signature race of the meeting is contested – the Randox Grand National 2023.
A total of forty horses were confirmed in the race back on Thursday, with one horse on the standby list (Franklin).
From its beginnings in 1839, the Grand National has become one of the most popular races in the world, and it is the one day a year that many people will have a bet on the race to try and land a winner, or a good priced each way place!
Last year, it was 50/1 outsider Noble Yeats that landed the win and the horse is back to try and win the race back to back this year.
However, in a field packed with plenty of depth, there are numerous other horses that could land a win to deny Noble Yeats that rare honour.
Bet365 Sport is already offering odds on the race and ante-post odds have been available for a while with the company.

There is a chance of rain on Friday which will likely give the ground a little cut, but Saturday is shaping up to be a sunny, bright day with temperatures up to around 14c, warmer than it has been throughout the week.
The going should be good to soft across most of the Grand National Track although in the slightly wetter part of the track from Foinavon through to the 12th fence the going could be soft.
As the weather picks up in temperature there should be a corresponding drop in windspeed too with gusts of up to 30mph on Thursday giving way to calmer conditions on Saturday.
Form Pick – A tough one this, but Gaillard Du Mesnil, Our Power and Le Milos have form this year that cannot be underestimated, while Noble Yeats has won twice, although his form has dropped off a little, but those 3rd and 4th place finishes did come in races under 3 miles.
Not too many previous winners at Aintree take to the field on Saturday in the big race with just two venue winners in the shape of Noble Yeats and 80/1 outside shot Sam Brown.
So who are the tips I’d back for this big race on Saturday?
Well I think Gaillard Du Mesnil is a fantastic pick up at the current price and I’d expect that horse to be backed in to around 8/1 by the start of the race on Saturday and I think Our Power at 20/1 is a great each way bet.
