mike postle lawyer

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CALIFORNIA – The poker world was rocked on December 9, 2020, by the news that Steven Lowe, a Beverly Hills entertainment and business attorney, had filed a motion to be dropped as counsel for Mike Postle.

Naturally, we at BCP were flabbergasted that this attorney would want to cease dealing with Postle in his $330 million defamation lawsuit against those who accused him of (allegedly) cheating. However, we began thinking about it and came up with ten reasons why Mr. Lowe might be seeking to end his involvement.

  1. Postle refuses to communicate with anything besides text messages composed in one’s lap.
  2. Numerous amicus briefs filed on behalf of the plaintiff from luminaries like Pike Mostle, Notmike Notpostle, and RounderLife Magazine, where Postle works.
  3. Postle keeps complaining about his legal bills, telling Lowe that he’s “just a humble 1-3 player.”
  4. Lowe has been compelled to file motions seeking to change the hearing venue to the Stones Livestream room.
  5. Postle is requiring Lowe to wear a cap to all hearings with bone-conducting headphones installed.
  6. Watching hours upon hours of Joey Ingram’s breakdown on Stones Live hands is causing Lowe to reflect on the fleeting nature of life.
  7. Postle keeps referring to the 1000 John Does mentioned as defendants as the “A**holes to Be Named Later” and laughing hysterically.
  8. Lowe had to make a motion that Postle be addressed in court as “World’s Greatest Poker Player Mike Postle” and ask the judge to hold those who do not do so in contempt.
  9. Postle has repeatedly argued that he should be able to know EXACTLY what the plaintiffs’ attorneys are going to do at all times.
  10. Postle’s retainer ran out and he ghosted Lowe.*

*This is the actual reason, but we prefer to believe the other nine.
