Las Vegas, NV – Wow, big news out of the Silver State today as Mike Matusow has a once in a lifetime offer for you. The four-time World Series bracelet winner has once again been nominated for the Poker Hall of Fame, but was wondering if you could help him out. Look, it’s real simple. If you could just give him 50 of your votes this year, then he’ll give you back 150 votes in two years. Three years tops. C’mon, what do you say? You know he’s good for it. He just needs a little help to get the ball rolling. And you know if you were in his spot, he’d do the same for you. This is the fourth year Mike has been nominated for the Hall of Fame. Each year the nominees are chosen by the public, but then the 31 living members of the Hall of Fame vote on who they think should be inducted. Next, those votes are carefully tallied, stored in a secure lockbox, and presented to Doyle Brunson, who then heaves it over the Hoover Dam and chooses whoever he wants. Matusow joins several big names on the list like Huck Seed, Antonio Esfandiari, Patrik Antonius, Isai Scheinberg and probably several other people too. Despite his financial troubles and spirited political commentary, Matusow continues to be a fan favorite. He also holds the distinction of being the only player in poker that isn’t currently being sued by Mike Postle. And while he may not be a favorite to get in this year, we still wish him good luck. Oh and hey if you do give Matusow your 50 votes, he asks that you would be cool, and just keep it between the two of you, ok? Editor’s note: Shortly after this article was published, Matusow was able to secure the 50 vote loan, however, controversy erupted quickly thereafter as he bet all 50 votes on the Patriots to cover this weekend.
