2024 has been a sensational year for sport and what better way to recognise it than to give out some BCP Sports Awards!

Over the year we have seen many exciting sporting performances, events, fixtures and individual brilliance, not to mention the occasional sporting nightmare thrown in for good measure! We have had a European Championships, Copa America and an Olympic Games thrown in for good measure.

The BCP Sports Awards of 2024 will seek to reward the sporting excellence we have witnessed throughout the year. Offering kudos to the winners and commiserations to those who came top in some of our less popular categories!

These awards are for outstanding or breakthrough performances in the named sporting field across 2024 for a range of popular sports.

Where feasible, we have awarded both a men’s and women’s award, with the top three shown for each sport and seeing as it is an Olympic year, we have hushed Gold, Silver and Bronze to designate the top three performers in each sport.

BRC Sports Awards of 2024 – Hall of Heroes Inductees

The final set of awards are our five nominations to join the BCP Hall of Heroes. Sporting superstars who have contributed to, or enjoyed success above and beyond that of any standard sporting ace. We will bring you our Hall of Heroes full list of sports stars, and their stories, already enshrined early in 2025.
