Where a pre-match selection on any of the markets listed above is part of a Bet Builder bet and the player you have backed is substituted before the half-time whistle, the relevant selection will be made void and the bet will be automatically repriced using pre-game prices. If the remaining selections win, this bet will be settled as a winner with the winnings paid in Bet Credits.
If you place an Each Way bet on the First Goalscorer market and your selection is substituted after the first goal but before the half time whistle, the place part of your bet will be returned as Bet Credits.
Restrictions
If the outcome of your selection has already been determined before your selected player is substituted, or your selection goes on to be a winner, then Substitute Guarantee will not apply and your bet will be settled in line with our Soccer Rules.
Substitute Guarantee will not apply where a bet has been fully Cashed Out. Where a qualifying bet has been partially Cashed Out, the Substitute Guarantee will apply to the remaining active stake.
If a qualifying selection is edited using our Edit Bet feature to change from a player who is then substituted before the half-time whistle, then Substitute Guarantee will not apply. Where a selection has been edited to change to a player who is then substituted before the half-time whistle, Substitute Guarantee will apply. If a selection has been edited to an In-Play selection, Substitute Guarantee will not apply.
Bets placed on friendly or exhibition games do not count for this offer.
Using Bet Credits
We will endeavour to apply Bet Credits to your account as a result of Substitute Guarantee as soon as possible once the substitution has taken place. Multiple bets are dependent on the outcome of the other selections.
Your Bet Credits are non-withdrawable. Any returns from Bet Credits stakes will be added to your Withdrawable Balance but Bet Credits stakes are not included in any returns. For example, a £10 bet placed at odds of 2/1 (3.00) would give a return of £30 (£20 winnings plus £10 stake), whereas a £10 Bet Credits stake placed at odds of 2/1 (3.00) would give a net return of £20, as the £10 Bet Credits stake is not returned.
Stakes can be funded in part by your Bet Credits and part with your Withdrawable Balance; however the Bet Credits element of the stake will not be included in any returns. For example, a £10 bet placed at odds of 2/1 (3.00) which was funded by £5 Bet Credits and £5 cash would give a net return of £25 (£20 winnings plus £5 cash stake) as the £5 Bet Credits stake would not be returned. If a bet is void and has had an opportunity to win (for example, in the event of a push), Bet Credits stakes will not be returned. If a bet is void and has not had an opportunity to win (for example, when a Goalscorer bet is placed on a player who does not then take part in the match), Bet Credits stakes will be returned.
Your Bet Credits will expire 7 days after they are added to your Bet Credits balance. If additional Bet Credits are added to your Bet Credits balance within this 7 day period, the total Bet Credits balance will expire 7 days after the last addition.
General
